The by-laws of the Sanctuary Fellowship were initially adopted on May 24, 2004.

CHURCH NAME
The name of this church shall be "The Sanctuary Fellowship of St. Louis."

OBJECTIVES
A. To be a dynamic spiritual organization empowered by the Holy Spirit to be a witness for Christ to as many people as possible in our church, community, and throughout the world.

B.  To be a worshipping fellowship, experiencing an awareness of God, recognizing His person, and responding in obedience to His leadership.

C.  To experience an increasingly meaningful fellowship with God and fellow believers.

D. To help people experience a growing knowledge of God and man.

E.  To be a church which ministers unselfishly to persons in the community and the world in Jesus' name.

F.  To be a church whose purpose is to be Christ-like in our daily living by emphasizing total commitment of life, personality, and possessions to the lordship of Christ.

MEMBERSHIP
A.  RECEPTION:  Members may be received into the fellowship of this church at regular worship services, at prayer meetings, and at regular or special meetings.  Reception may be granted by baptism, acceptance of letters from other churches, or by a statement of faith and of previous baptism.

B.  TRANSFER:  All members in good standing shall be eligible for letters of introduction and commendation to other churches.

VOTING PRIVILEGES
All members in good standing may vote on specific business matters of the church.

OFFICERS
Ministerial Staff and Administrators.

AMENDMENTS
The foregoing by-laws may be amended upon special resolution by 2/3 of the members present at any duly called business meeting providing such proposals are clearly stated in an announcement calling for the meeting.
