Description of Purpose Diamond Elements

First base (Connect) =  the connection we make with God and each other.  This is fellowship and community that is the focus of the church being a family.  The emphasis is on relationships.  Membership 101 will help explain what SF is about and the importance of belonging to the church as a member. 

Second base (Grow) = the importance of spiritual growth as a Christian.  This is where we learn to pray, study the Bible, and have a daily quiet time.  Discipleship 201 will focus on these and other ways to become a mature follower of Jesus.

Third base (Serve) = the place where we serve others with our spiritual gifts.  We learn to live out of our calling and personality.  Ministry 301 will use personality tests and spiritual gift inventories to help aid in this effort.

Home plate (Share) = the place we become an effective witness of our own experience with God.  We learn to share with others what God has done for us.  Mission 401 will help us get our testimony into an effective  discourse that communicates to anyone.

Pitchers mound (Worship) = worship, the heart of our church.  Our goal is to worship God in spirit and truth with the most fresh and creative services possible. We always seek the leadership and blessing of the Spirit.
